Timeout for Women- a photo essay

I could go on and on about what a fabulous time I had, the many, many amazing classes and speakers, the sparkling conversation, the laughs, the late-night-bunk-bed-in-the-dark chatter, the food, glorious food....but I won't. I'll just show you instead. Feast upon this, my friends:

I call this one "leaving the parking garage".
It's simple, but profound, with a sense of movement.

I present to you, "Mongolian Grill in Orange"
"Yum"
This is my husband's cute little sister.
"Sublimely Satiated"
This one speaks to me.
It says, "I just said something clever, and you'll never know what it was."
"Awesome kitchen designer"
Here she in in her new kitchen she designed herself . The last one was mostly destroyed in a fire. This one is way better, so it's all good.

"Fabulous, funny Songstress"
I profoundly regret what I am about to say. Please forgive me, but this photo confirms what I suspected at the time. Bold prints across the belly don't do anyone any favors. No matter how thin and fit and petite you are. Let this be a lesson to us all.
"To but kiss a wooden Indian makes life complete."
No explanation needed here.
"Mercy River Rocks"
Get it? River rocks? Hee hee.
Again, with the nitpicking. Forgive me. The chicky-babe in black needed to be in the middle for 'colorbalancedness'. Or she needed a red shirt. But like this, I kept leaning my head sideways.
"Husband's Wimmin Folk"

I need to prepare you for the next few photos. Don't be too shocked, but you're going to see some pretty deadly sins.

"Lust"
"Greed"
"Gluttony"

And my redemption....

"True and Sincere Remorse"
This meal remains with me to this day. I can feel it on my buns and thighs.

I call this one "Welcome Home, Mommy"
"We really, REALLY missed you."

Ok- I NEED some of these pictures. I also want to borrow your sister-in-law. And, in a few months we need to go for some more of that sinful cuisine.

Looks like you had a lot of fun! That dessert looked completely divine. I am having gluttony issues myself, knowing that I am going on a diet in about 3 weeks, 6 days or so. It's just so hard to resist!!

How fun fun fun! I wish I could have made it!! Maybe next time. The food looks like the best part! Also, the meal kindly provided by Lewis made me laugh because it is almost exactly what Vern would have done! He usually grabs a Yoke's pizza if I'm gone!

That looks like it was so fun. I cannot imagine what that ice-cream did to you later. I know what it would have done to me and it wouldn't be pretty.
Great pictures!

Very very very funny. Very funny. That was quite a meal, I especially loved the remorse.

The meals sound wonderful--I think home cooking is highly over-rated (in my house anyways!).
I think the many amazing classes will have to be covered in actual conversation!
