Sweet Niblets, I'm Outed!

I've been under the blogger radar for a while.

What have I been doing?
Laying on the couch.

Sick.

With a cough.

Hacking up a lung. I actually lost my voice for about a week. I got so sick that I couldn't cook dinner, so I brought home Taco Bell. Ever heard of Delhi Belly? I got Taco Belly. That's right food poisoning on top of whatever else I had. Then my husband was out of town and MY DOG was sick on the carpet. (Tia Juana, I'm SO getting your pet aversion right now!) I'm often accused of getting too gross on my blog, so I'll spare you the details except to say that I want new carpet.

With all this quality time I've had on the couch, I've picked up a dirty, embarrassing, shameful habit. See, when you don't feel well enough to do anything else, you're entertained by things you wouldn't ordinarily be entertained by.

Okay, I'll tell you.

(Drawing a deep cleansing breath)
My name is Earlgirl, and I'm addicted to Hannah Montana.
There I've said it.

Don't judge me, I've been very ill.

At first it was just curiosity. "What IS all this about Hannah Montana?" I said to myself. I watched the first episode and groaned. Then I watched another, and I cracked a smile. Then I watched more and more until now my three year old and I have watched three seasons and sing along with the music.
"You get the BEST OF BOTH WORLDS, chill it out take it slow, then you ROCK OUT THE SHOW....."

It's come to this.

(happy giggle)You are so funny! I'm sorry you've been feeling sick, and then to add to it all the added sickness and the dog! Yikes! (smile) Sounds like you had a great time with Hannah Montana! (smile) it's a cute show. I don't normally watch it, but have been known to catch a show here and there.

Hope you're back on top soon.

I'm sorry you have been so sick. I can't eat at Taco Bell. Too many people I know have gotten sick from eating there.
I love that you are a mom of all boys and watch Hannah Montana. I haven't gotten there yet, but well...maybe some day.:) You are so cool!

My neice has a Hanna Montana Barbie that sing "You could be just like me. I'm just like anybody else, don'tcha know!" She left the accursed thing at my house over night on accident. Oh, the horrors!

First of all my husband thinks it is funny that you thought of me when your dog barfed. And second, if you had a girl and she imitated everything HM did night and day, you wouldn't think it was so good. I have to tell ET whenever she goes out in public that she can't act like HM and she needs to remember her social manners.

I am so sorry about the carpet! Feel better soon.

As soon as I saw 'Sweet Niblets' I knew where this was going. I have a five year old that thinks she should be the next Hannah Montana. Embrace your love of the best of both worlds.

If you need an excuse, you'll need to know all the Hannah trivia so you can bond with Samantha when we have our sister experience in Ireland with Jenn and all the other sisters we can muster up.

Drew and I both enjoy watching them with Samantha... :-)

Admitting your problem is the first step. :) I'm glad you are feeling better.

I must live in a parallel universe because I had no clue who Hannah Montana was until a few months ago.

You looked great at church,I guess you must have been feeling better.

Don't worry, I would have never imagined I would sing along "Word World" songs with my toddler, I always thought, "nah, that's too silly" but now I do, I admit it, I do. :)

Ha ha ha! Thats great! My whole family watches way to much Disney channel when we visit my mom. I prefer Wizards of Waverly Place (check it out!)... but I think that the brother on Hannah Montana is pretty darn funny.

I do have two problems with it though. First- I always hear don't break my heart, my achy breaky heart when her dad comes on. Second- her lips and teeth remind me of a mouse. I don't know why... but it bugs me.
