I love thee to the depth and breadth and heightMy bloated tummy can reach, when feeling out of sorts.
I love thee to the length and distance my children have to run
to escape when they hide from me in the tree fort.
I love thee smoothly, as smooth as the creamy chocolatethat becomes my link with sanity.
I love thee dreamily, on those days when only napsMake me fit for exposure to humanity.I love being a woman. It's just not fair that we get all the fun and men have to miss out.

you are such a great writer...and can always make me laugh...even at life's blah times thanks for perking up my day!
I LOVE your ode! How hillarious. especially since just last night we were discussing the wonder drug that is midol! You always make me laugh & I can definitely relate to this post my friend!
Man, do I miss medication. I still have a year of nursing to go after the baby is born too. *sniff*
Yum, that cake looks delicious.
Now I need to find my precious Nutella jar. :)
Ahhh, the joy of sleeping in, my husband says I sleep in even if I wake up at 6 am, because he goes to work at 4:30 am.
But the nice thing is that Gabriel sleeps uninterrupted until 8:30 or 9 am, and he doesn't wake up crying, usually he smiles and makes sounds to wake me up, it's so nice. I have a feeling the next baby won't be so nice. :)
Oh, ho, ho! That is good! You are genius!
Hit the nail on the head, sister. As a compliment to you, I was thinking you may have made that piece of chocolate heaven with your own two hands. You don't need to confirm or deny.
